Gold Coast City Council Safety Camera Network. In 1998, the Gold Coast City Council commissioned our firm to install the Safety Camera Network in Surfers Paradise. In 1999, the network was extended to include Broadbeach and Coolangatta via ISDN Links. It was then extended further in 2001 to include Southport via a Microwave Link which has since been replaced by a Private ADSL Link. The system consists of approximately 80 Pan/Tilt/Zoom Cameras, 20 Monitors, and 10 Digital Video Recorders. Grace Electronics is solely responsible for the design and engineering of this system as well as its Ethernet Network and the integration of all ADSL, ISDN and Microwave Links to the systems remote sites. Currently our firm maintains and upgrades the Safety Camera Network.

Robina Town Centre Public Address and Background Music System. The main PA and BGM System at Robina has 16 different Speaker Zones. Each Speaker Zone has its own TOA or Jeil Amplifier which is located in a Central Equipment Room. Each Amplifier has a selection of 6 different program sources, including two Denon CD Players, Austar Satellite Music, Denon Cassette Deck, Denon AM/FM Tuner and Toa Message Announcer. An InterM (Inkel) Program Timer operates a custom built Automatic Attenuation System that adjusts Background Music volume levels over each 24 hour period. Seven Speaker Zones have Remote Amplifiers that can be activated at the flick of a switch to 'capture' the speakers in their area for promotions or entertainment.

All Saints Anglican School. During 2005, the school's IT Department asked us to design and install a CCTV System to help their Security Department monitor the Car Parks surrounding the school. We were able to make use of existing spare Single-mode and Multi-mode Fibre Cable Cores run throughout the school, thus saving the client a considerable amount on cabling costs. The system consists of high quality Ikegami Day/Night Cameras and Pelco Weatherproof Housings, General Electric (Fibre Options) Fibre Transmitters and Receivers and a Pacific Communications Digital Video Recorder (DVR). The DVR is interfaced into the school's Ethernet Network which allows pictures from the CCTV System to be viewed (and archived) from any PC on the network that has the SmartBase Remote Administration Software installed on it.

Pacific Fair Public Address and Background Music System. During its last major redevelopment, Pacific Fair required refurbishment and extension of its PA and BGM Systems. The System comprises of 20 Speaker Zones and over 175 Speakers. The Main Equipment Rack consists of mainly Toa equipment including a Monitor Panel, 6 Channel Mixer, Message Announcer, and three 240 Watt PA Amplifiers. The two main program sources in this system are a Denon 6 Disc CD Player and a Technics AM/FM Tuner.

Vorsa. During 2006, the owners of Vorsa (a ladies fashion boutique at Pacific Fair), requested that we install a Camera and DVR in their store. The DVR is connected to a Netcomm ADSL Router and both live and recorded pictures can be viewed via the Internet. Interestingly the primary function of this particular system is not for security. The recorded images are being used by Vorsa’s fashion designers to work out the demographics of customers entering the store. Primarily Vorsa’s designs are for an older target market. Images gathered from the system so far have indicated a lot of younger customers also enter the store and as a result this has given the company the evidence it needs to consider adjusting its range of designs.

Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort. Our firm installed all of the Audio Visual Systems during the construction of this hotel. A PA and BGM System was installed to service the Main and Second Floor Foyers, Lift Lobbies, and Driveway. In addition to this a BGM System was installed in each Restaurant and Bar in the hotel. We also designed and installed the Main Ballroom and Meeting Room Audio Visual Systems which can be combined through a network of Patch Panels. Also we supplied Video Projectors, Motorized Screens as well as freestanding AV Equipment such as Portable PA Systems, Monitors, VCR's, Video Cameras, Film Projectors and Trolleys.
